While in travelling through Thailand, I worked with a close friend in Wellington, Jacob, to launch his gardening business. I produced a visual identity, website and print documents.
Jacob is 'stoked' with the design and the folks in Wellington dig it too, as FTRG has grown to be a successful business.
The FTRG logo began as a hand drawn graphic and then digitised into what you see here. A healthy system of roots entangle the type giving rise to one proud flower, symbolic of Jacobs approach to garden care.
The website takes you on a journey as you scroll beneath the grass, down to the roots.
Carrying the identity through to a printed business card provided an attractive object to drop into letterboxes, proving to be a successful method of community level marketing.
